Social Development department reiterates commitment to bettering SASSA grants

Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assist and commitment to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services during an engagement using the company's senior administrators at a strategic planning session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.

On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% in the registered pupils during the training sector.

These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
